Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

What Our BCBAs Do:

As part of the position, the BCBA may:​

  • Provide case supervision and case management for ABA therapy programs for children with Autism

  • Provide parent training on the principles of ABA and behavior analysis

  • Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs)

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments/analyses

  • Conduct assessments, e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PDDBI, Vineland-3

  • Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitor client progress towards goals

  • Prepare written progress reports and treatment plans

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism in the clinic, home, and community settings

  • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements for session notes and data, treatment plans, case supervision, RBT requirements, etc.

  • Assists with a variety of professional tasks such as presentations to community and professional groups and CEU workshops.

Requirements:​

  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

  • Must be able to pass a Criminal History Background Check

  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills

  • Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask

  • Must be able to work well as part of a team

  • Provide case supervision and case management for ABA therapy programs for children with Autism

  • Provide parent training on the principles of ABA and behavior analysis

  • Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

For Autism services, Green Box ABA currently accepts the TRICARE insurance plan

 

The time frame for initiation of services is dependent upon availability of service providers and varies depending upon when the client is available for sessions. There is an especially high demand for after-school services.
