Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work directly with children, delivering high quality ABA services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

All therapy sessions are within the hours of 9:00am-6:30pm, Monday- Friday and 9:00am-1:30pm Saturday.
​
RBTs work in client homes, in the clinic, or some combination, in Springfield, Ft. Belvoir, Alexandria, and surrounding areas.

Candidates already credentialed as an rBT are preferred.

Registered Behavior Technicians must be officially credentialed by passing a statewide exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician (rBT).

In addition, updated certifications in CPR/First Aid, HIPPA, and Child Abuse and Neglect are required.

Enthusiasm to grow professionally

Love working with kids!

Must pass a criminal background check

Available to work between 3:00 – 6:30 pm at least 3 days/week and some Saturdays

Prior experience with children with special needs preferred but not required

Our highly competitive compensation is hourly and based on experience.
Position Requirements

rBT’s are trained to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism disorder spectrum in home, clinic, and community settings.

rBT’s create a fun learning environment to facilitate new skill acquisition, implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide support to parents.
What you will do

Ongoing training and support is provided by our staff of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).

Support is provided for technicians who are interested in making the journey from rBT to Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). rBT’s who choose to pursue a graduate degree in ABA, Psychology, or Special Education can receive guidance and professional supervision, including required experience hours towards BCBA certification.

New to ABA?
Training to become a Registered Behavior Technician is available through Green Box for those not currently certified.
